Client services & communications assistant

Kali Dey (she/her) joined Figure 8 as an Investment Intern the summer of 2024. As a recent Boise State University graduate, Kali enjoys blending her analytical skills with creativity. Over her four years at Boise State, she completed a Bachelors in Finance and an Associates in Marketing and Dance. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors. Kali shares Figure 8's passion for social and environmental impact and is fascinated with how wealth redistribution can affect communities at both local and global level. Over the 2024 summer, Kali explored her deeper interests as she contributed to Figure 8's research team, analyzing impact investments and seeking opportunities to drive positive change. During the fall, Kali transitioned roles into a Client Services & Communications Assistant. She is eager to make positive impact on the Client Services Team through bubbly interactions, an attention to detail, and a drive to provide the highest level of care/support to Figure 8 Clients.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Kali's upbringing fostered her passion for environmental conservation. Additionally, she is a professional dancer and choreographer with Boise's first contemporary company, Idaho Dance Theatre, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Outside of the office, in addition to dance she enjoys walking her dog Luna, exploring the Boise outdoors, traveling, reading, hammocking by the river, and basking in the sunshine.
